Young people in Solihull, West Midlands, are getting to know more of B3 Creative’s road safety campaigns every day. Currently we have no less than four different initiatives running in the region.

The latest is aimed at teenagers (16-19 year olds), and highlights the role passengers can have in road traffic collisions. Launched in the build-up to Valentine’s Day, we used the strength of teenagers’ friendships to encourage them to consider responsible behaviour when in a car. Plus, they could grab a special packet of Love Hearts (mmm, sweet treats!) and enter a competition to win a concert tickets.

Other current campaigns include 3D effect lenticular posters in coffee shops, bars and other busy areas (enter an online competition here!), interactive lesson plans aimed at pupils preparing to move to secondary school and a walk-to-school initiative that utilises gamification to encourage pupils to leave the car behind.

Plus, we are currently in production on a short, comic road safety education film aimed at 19-25 year olds and an online a pack for parents of reception age children. Watch this space!
